I’m Kelly Levatino, and I am a 35-year-old Jesus follower from Memphis, TN. My husband and I have been married for thirteen years. I work part time designing websites for a non-profit, and I “stay at home” part time with our daughters (ages eleven and nine).
I graduated from Crichton College in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Theology, which means I have a B.S. in B.S. (bachelor’s of science in… biblical studies…). A decade later I enrolled in seminary. In 2017 I earned a master’s degree in Christian Ministry with a focus on Homiletics from Liberty University’s School of Divinity.
My heart is to inspire and equip others to study and apply the Bible to their lives themselves. I do this through several avenues: writing this blog, speaking engagements, and teaching Bible in small groups. I’m also a contributing author at iDisciple.org.
I have a desire to live a transparent life as a Christian so those around me (whether they have similar or vastly different beliefs) can see how relational faith in God is not only possible but immeasurably more glorious than everything else in life.
Despite my having lived in Memphis for more than half my life, I haven’t always been a Christian. To read about my conversion from atheist to Christ-follower, start here.
